Yes! We’re back!

After many months of anticipation we’re here and proud to present our newest project: Gifted & Talented: A New Musical Film!

You’re cordially invited to spend your summer at the Center for Talented Children, a camp for (you guessed it!) gifted and talented children. Here, you’ll meet Wyatt, a brilliant 16-year-old composer, as he delves into a summer that promises much more than just your average leadership games and math problems.

Howdy TOMers!

Having a wonderfully slushie-filled summer? Catching some rays at the beach? Well here at The Online Musical the summer heat has gotten the creative juices flowing and we’ve been hard at work on our newest project–the short musical film Gifted & Talented!

Staring TOM favorites Matt Savarese and Rachel Dady, as well as some sprightly new friends and past familiar faces, Gifted & Talented chronicles the adventures of Wyatt, a shy but extremely gifted 13-year old boy, as he navigates the worlds of summer camp and first crushes.

We’re very excited to be reliving arguably the most awkward years of our lives and plan to submit Gifted & Talented to a number of film festivals this upcoming fall.

Hello everyone out there in cyberland! In the event that you’ve been living under a rock, let us inform you that there is a new craze sweeping the world. A hungry, adolescent craze. Yes, that’s right, we’re talking about Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games.

Here at The Online Musical we couldn’t miss a pop culture phenomenon like this, but without young children and advanced weaponry at our disposal, we looked to the next best thing. Remember those lovable, useless bean critters your parents spent an absurd amount of money on when you were a tot? That’s right folks, we’ve recreated the love, loss, glitz, glam, and extreme violence of The Hunger Games…with Beanie Babies.

Hey hey hey all you Online Musical lovers out there! Have you liked our new Facebook page?? We’re back in a big way and excited to bring you a marriage of two of our favorite things– the unparalleled poetic and musical power of Claude-Michel Schönberg’s Les Miserables with the cardiac arrest-inducing bass drop of dubstep. Yes, we have found a way to perfectly meld these two seemingly opposite forces into a perfect blend of badassery and Internet goodness. People of the interwebs, we present to you: Les Miserabstep!

Les Miserabstep is the first “Rampell Remix”, awesome remixes of your favorite musical theater classics done by The Online Musical’s very own Ryan Campbell (Yes that’s right, Henchman #2 from MTOM, James from Pokemon: The Musical AND the 1920′s Reporter from Waldo). This week we’ll be dropping three original remixes your way, “I Dreamed a Dream” on Monday, “One Day More” on Wednesday, and “Empty Chairs and Empty Tables” on Friday, so crank up the volume and get ready to dance for revolution like it’s 1832.

Where’s Waldo?: The Musical

Hello interwebz explorers! That’s right, all of us at The Online Musical have created another tasty internet treat–the most enduring mystery known to man has been solved: WHERE’S WALDO?: THE MUSICAL.

As you know, we here at TOM are constantly striving to answer life’s greatest questions. Since the dawn of time, millions of children have struggled to find the illusive Waldo. But we’ve found the answer. The Online Musical is proud to present the true tale of Waldo. First there’s Wenda—- ex-lover, looking for her baby-daddy…is Waldo the one? Next up, Odlaw—- a spiteful half-brother, looking to himself…does Waldo have the answer? Then there’s Wizard Whitebeard—- he was left behind when the student overcame the teacher…can Waldo stay hidden? Lastly there’s the 1920’s reporter…he just wants the scoop. But why all the secrets? Is Waldo hiding from us, or hiding from himself?
